1927 Ford Model T Bucket Truck Roadster. Nick Named “One Cent” this is one wild Hot Rod with proven miles! Very cool combination of original Henry Ford Steel body, doors and rear box, paired with hand worked aluminum airplane style riveted interior, seats, windshield frame and box panels. Fully custom boxed frame holds the car up with mono-leaf springs front and rear, a suicide style front end with solid axle is up front along with an F-100 Steering box, and a 9” Ford axle is out back. The vehicle was built by Slade Customs in Orillia Ontario and finished in summer of 2025. Up front is a 305 Chevy with triple Stromberg carbs, but currently only the middle on is hooked up to run the car. Exhaust dumps out on each side of the engine, but surprisingly, the car isn’t extremely loud. Behind all this is a 700R4 5-speed automatic topped with a stripper pole and chandelier knob shifter. Buick finned aluminium drum brakes, just like an old-school hot rod on all four corners finished with 16” whitewall Firestone vintage look tires. Retro Bomber Seat Company supplied the seats along with Trim Teck Interiors taking care of the upholstery, all completed in 2025. A Joe’s Performance steering wheel is removable, making it easier to get in and out! Turn signal switches located on the steering column below the dash. A complete set of vintage looking Race Tech Performance gauges are set in the dash and include voltage, water temp, speed, rpm, oil pressure and fuel level. A weathered Lokar hand brake has also been installed. Yes, that is the working fuel tank mounted on top of the truck box! The car has won a few awards that are included with the car. Super cool and super fun to drive. Not meant for extremely tall people, but its comfortable enough for most. Can’t beat the style and sound of this recently completed Rod! True milage unknown.
