1955 Chevrolet 210 2-dr Post Coupe Resto Mod. This has to be the nicest ’55 we’ve ever had here at the showroom. An incredible build from top to bottom. The body off restoration started years ago and was completed in April 2013. Most of the work was completed where the car lived, in Lake Elsinore California, but the car was bought as a project in 2010 and finished in Canada. The chassis has been powder coated and features CPP suspension components. 12-inch front and 11-inch rear rotors and Baer Brake components all around. The rear also features TCI springs and four link set up and a ford 9” rear diff. Wheels are custom made for the car by Schott with 18x7’s up front and 18x8’s on the back. Powered by a completely rebuilt 350 V8 with a high lift cam, high rise intake, march pulley system with just about every component chromed short of the block itself. Power steering and Power brakes with all new braided steel brake and fuel lines. It’s all backed by a 700R 4-speed automatic transmission with 2500 stall converter. The radiator and gas tank are custom fabricated by Hot Rod city in San Bernadino CA. The exterior of the car is sensational. All the chrome is show perfect and the paint, thanks to a recent polish has a mirror finish and feels as soft as butter. The body itself was media blasted when restored and had no rust being a California car. Paint is Omni single stage urethane paint in a very elegant combination of Ivory and copper. The 210 trim is all brand new. The interior is incredible as well with leather seat faces in a light tan with copper ostrich inserts. Classic Instrument fit in the dash perfectly and there’s also a Vintage Air A/C kit with retrofit controls. The steering column has tilt and is fully chromed as well. A custom center console features a modern stereo and flows back into a leather armrest with storage. There’s just 2400 miles on the car since the build was completed. The trunk is also finished in the same manner as the interior and it’s flawless! The underside of the car is just as show worthy as the top. Don’t miss the nicest ’55 we’ve ever had here!
