1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 2-dr fastback coupe. Beautiful triple black car with deep glossy paint, a flawless vinyl top and handsome black vinyl covered bucket seats sandwiching a console with storage and B&M performance shifter and electronic converter lockup controls. Chrome and brightwork are excellent and the 18" US Mag chrome wheels compliment the look well. They also properly convey just how much performance this Impala is sporting under the hood! Badged as a 427, there's actually a GM crate 502 between the fenders with GM performance aluminum heads and intake, HEI distributor, March machined aluminum pulley system, topped with a Holley Performance 4-bbl carb. A very lump cam provides the perfect soundtrack through 2.5" Hooker Headers and 3" dual exhaust. Power steering and Power brakes with a vacuum cannister to account for the cam. There's a large aftermarket aluminum rad with dual electric fans to handle the big block heat as well as an auxiliary transmission cooler. Underneath the car you'll find tubular control arms up front and Hotchkiss sport suspension out back with a large anti-sway bar. The car sounds absolutely killer and is nice and raunchy to drive. Lots of performance here despite the curb weight. Inside you'll find a very nice place to cruise around in. Mostly factory, but with a few add-ons like an wood steering wheel, chromed tilt column, aftermarket tach, oil, temp and volt gauges as well as an aftermarket stereo with powered subs in the trunk. The battery has been relocated to the back of the car and there's a shut-off under the rear bumper. Car shows 1100 miles, but with a 5-digit odometer and engine swap, true milage is unknown. It's possible the milage was reset when the new engine was dropped in. If you're looking for something that performs and really stands out on the street, this certainly makes that statement! A true SS with killer looks and that sweeping roofline will turn heads at every green light!
