1967 Pontiac Firebird Resto mod. Incredible build with lots of attention to detail. Under the hood is a 1973 454 V8 with 2-bolt mains and 10.6:1 compression. The crank has been balanced and there’s a SFI flex plate. New king bearings. The engine was bored 0.60 over with new Keith Black domed pistons, Moly rings and shortened rod. This now makes it a 468 A new high volume oil pump and pick up tube added. Heads are aluminum with full intake and exhaust specifications coming with the car. Smith Bro’s custom pushrods and new rockers. Intake has been port matched to the heads. There’s a new Comp roller cam with .570 lift and .540 exhaust, Comp retrofit roller DLC lifters and a new timing kit with billet cover. High performance serpentine pulleys in place. MSD ignition system, Holley electric fuel pump at 6 psi with custom fuel lines. On top is a Holley Brawler 4-corner idle, 750 carb with mechanical secondaries that’s been professionally jetted. The alternator is chromed, along with the power steering pump, and master cylinder from a corvette. Disc brakes on all corners with QA-1 upper and lower control arms and new shocks. Behind the big 454 is a TH-400 with 3500 still converter and trans cooler. A Griffin aluminum rad with dual 10” electric fans keep things cool. The engine bay looks like an orange, aluminum and chromed work of art and sounds as good as it looks! The fire engine red paint is very nice and chrome is excellent. Aftermarket Torq Thrust wheels look the part. Interior is the black and white combo with deluxe molded door panels, and buckets and console. Not to mention there’s extra details with a custom rear deck that holds a pair of speakers, a perfect headliner and the extra chrome around the window frames that comes on a Pontiac. Extra aftermarket gauges hang from the dash and there’s an added tach. Trunk has a custom finish with dual subwoofers and dual amplifiers on display. The stereo sounds excellent. Lots of thump without being deafening. Odometer reads 27,000 miles but with an engine replacement, true milage is unknown.
