1974 Dodge Dart Swinger 2-dr Hardtop. This is one very original sweetheart of a car! The current owner is believed to be the second registered owner. The typical story - bought new by a lady and ordered specifically for her, she owned the car most of it's life! It's not going to win any drag strip races, but the 225 1-bbl slant 6-cylinder runs flawlessly and absolutely purrs like a kitten. Backed by a 3-speed automatic torque flite. The car shows 42,000 miles and although there’s no documentation and because of a 5-digit odometer, the milage can’t be proven, one look at the original upholstery and the underside of the car, and its very clear that the car only has 42k on it.   Very highly equipped in a lot of uncommon way from the factory. This car features power brakes with front discs and rear drums, power steering, 3-speed wipers, fender mounted turn signal indicators, chrome roof drip rail moldings, chrome wide sill moldings, chrome wheel lip moldings, and decklid finish panel moldings, all in fantastic shape for being original. From factory the car would have also come with a full white vinyl roof and body side moldings in black, but those were not re-installed when the car was repainted. The repaint was some time ago, in the factory original B5-blue. Other options include map light, rear defog (lines in the glass), 14” Rallye wheels, “Buddy seat” high back front bench seat with fold down center arm rest, dual chrome outside mirrors, 1-piece headliner and 3-point front seatbelts. The interior is believed to be original and besides the usual crack in the dashboard pad, it’s in fantastic condition. Out back the compact spare is in place along with the factory jack and tire Iron. A new correct trunk mat is in place. The only modifications are a Retro-sound blue tooth stereo in place of the 3-watt factory AM radio. Proper after market kick panels have been added to accommodate stereo front speakers, and two stereo rear speakers are under the back package tray, in the factory locations. Talk about the perfect ice cream machine leaving it just the way it is, or ultimate platform to drop a nice 340 into! Body is fantastic underneath and corrosion free. There’s the odd chip here or there on the paint, but largely very nice. It will absolutely win your heart when you come to see it in person.
