1975 Toyota Pickup Hilux. These are almost impossible to find, especially in this condition. This is a rust-free truck, which is an amazing feat, considering that most of these trucks have rusted beyond recognition! '75 was the first year for the venerable Toyota 20R 2.2 Liter SOCH 8-valve inline 4-cylinder. This engine was well known for reliability and its stout construction. It has a manual choke 2-barrel carb and made 96 hp when new. In this truck, it's backed by a 3-speed automatic. The truck has dual circuit power brakes as well! It sounds like an absolute sewing machine but idles very nicely. Some carb work will be completed shortly. The body, frame and box of this truck are in incredible shape. Floors appear to be un-patched and are completely solid. Cab corners are good, and the box and sides of the truck have zero rust. There is minor scaling on the underside but considering that most of these trucks have fenders that flap when they go down the road, this one is in incredible condition. Paint is driver quality and is nice but not completely flaw free. Interior is again in nice condition, but there are a few cracks in the dash and on the seats. Again, try and find another one that’s as nice as this one! Has a radio, heater and wipers and washers. Combine those with the automatic, bucket seats and center console and this would probably be considered a highly optioned '75 Toyota. Everything is as it should be and works. It's not fast but a pleasure to drive as it's so unique. 81,000 miles showing, but like any vehicle with a 5-digit odometer, true milage is unknown.  Cute as a button, and one of a kind these days.
