1977 Ford Mustang II Fastback. Most of these have been chopped up for their front ends in other hot rods, so it’s neat to see a restored one. These weren’t really loved right from the start, in fact, sometimes they were flat out hated when they were new, so they don’t come around very often. This one has survived well and has newer paint, and a few other replaced parts.  Impressively the large 5-MPH plastic bumpers are perfect! Its largely a survivor though with a lot of the interior being original with the exception of the seat upholstery. Under the hood is a 302 topped with a 4-barrel with an automatic behind it. There are brand new aftermarket wheels and tires. Louvers added to the back and side windows look great along with the rear tail fin mounted to the liftgate. All of the bits and pieces are there, with no missing trim or interior parts. With the exception of one crack on the dash, the instrument cluster is almost flawless with all gauges working including the tach. The engine bay will get a bit more detailing but overall, its in driver quality condition and could take you to any Cars and Coffee or show n shine. ’77 was the last year of the US system before Canada moved over to metric, so this one reads in Miles and shows 40,000 on the clock, but being a 5-digit odometer true milage is unknown. Story goes that this one was sold new in Saskatoon and has been a rust free car it’s whole life. All original metal. 302 is believed to be original with matching miles due to the incredible condition of the car. New dual exhaust has been added more recently.
