1980 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado Regular Cab, Short Box Resto Mod. Nice little truck with a lot going for it! Body is largely stock except for shaved factory taillights and a rear roll pan that now houses LED taillights and reverse lights. Tailgate was also smoothened, and the latch was relocated to the inside. This truck went through a frame off restoration about 25 years ago. You’d never know it, based on the condition of the paint, now in competition Orange. The Silverado is still wearing much of its stock trim, front grill, bumpers and belt line moldings. On the inside, everything is new, or in excellent original condition. There appears to be a new dash pad, and the Dakota Digital instruments are all new along with a brushed bezel. The digital odometer reads 1000 miles since completion. There’s a tilt column, working heater and new Retro sound digital radio. This is also the deluxe interior with upgraded dash trim and door panels, plus buckets and a console with all new black vinyl upholstery, headliner and carpets. The door and window weather stripping and felts have all been replaced.  Very nice place to spend some time cruising.  The truck also has the perfect stance thanks to Bell-tech drop spindles, tubular upper and lower control arms, with drop hangers on the rear leafs. There are new shocks all around too, and the original components were blasted and painted during the restoration. Under the hood the stock 305 was replaced a 454 from the 70’s with internal upgrades, new heads, Edelbrock air-gap intake, Quickfuel 680 4-bbl carb, new air cleaner and matching valve covers and a March pulley system up front as well as Sanderson Shorty headers and 3” dual exhaust. A new Aluminum rad with electric fans is in place, and everything under the hood is neat and tidy. Behind that 454 is a 4L80 4-speed auto with TCI controller, new U joints and safety loop on a custom drive shaft, leading to a 12-bolt posi rear diff with 3.73 gears out back. Wilwood hydroboost power brakes with 4-wheel discs bring things to a stop in a hurry with all new wheel components and lines. Stock style GM rally wheels with trim rings and Mickey Thompson White letter tires on all 4 corners. The truck was more recently appraised at $58,600. Very nice driving truck with a lot going for it. Make it yours!
