1985 GMC C-10 Custom. Now here’s a neat one! This shortened GMC square body cab and box have been modified to sit on top of a 2006 BMW 325i wagon chassis! Not your typical square body at all! Very unique and not for everyone, but if you’re looking for a cool looking vintage truck you can drive all year round, this is it! Under the GMC skin is all BMW, meaning the platform, floors, chassis, powertrain, and even the interior are BWM! Especially cool considering that the donor car was an AWD wagon with a 5-speed manual! Imagine jumping in your square body, but you’re greeted with all the luxuries of a BMW. That means power headed leather bucket seats, dual zone climate control with working A/C, Touch-screen audio system with Bluetooth, android auto and apple car play, plus cruise control and everything else you’d find on a luxury car. The only things that aren’t currently functional are the wipers and high beams, but those would be fairly straightforward to remedy. Powered by 3.0-liter Inline 6, the BMW also has a Bilstein B12 lowering kit with 20x8 and 20x10 American racing wheels and it corners on rails – Something no square body would ever do from factory. Very fun to drive, still looks cool, and has all the features you could ask for! A bit of finishing work could be done on the interior depending on how you like it. Probably not for the Chev/GM purists, but still neat for someone who likes something that’s different! BMW has 286,000 kms on the odometer.
