1986 Pontiac Trans Am. One owner, local Saskatchewan car with low kms! This ’86 was sold new at Mann Motors in Prince Albert and moved with its owners one year later to Saskatoon and has been in the same garage with the same folks ever since! Incredible survivor condition wearing factory laid paint with very few flaws and astonishingly it’s still got its factory original tires on! Just 87,000 kms on the 6-digit odometer and with receipts and a single owner, milage is true! Right now, we’re working with the owners to dig up the original bill of sale and all service records. We expect that will come along with the car. This one is well equipped too! The High output 5.0-liter V8 with tuned port fuel injection is backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission in this example. No T-tops, but there is Power windows, Power Locks, A/C, cruise control, Tilt column, leather wrapped steering wheel, full gauges including speedometer, fuel, volts temp and oil pressure. The pop-up headlights work perfectly and the optional Fog lights are unbroken and work. There’s a rear window defroster and remote release for the trunk lid which has the optional power soft closer that still works great! IT also has the optional Delco AM/FM Cassette deck with 5-band graphic equalizer, digital controls and automatic revers and auto searching cassette player – all very high end for it’s day. The stereo still sounds great. The center console has tape storage, and this car has the optional overhead console with trip meter and map light. With the exception of a bit of wear on the driver’s cloth floormat, there is no wear and tear anywhere else on the upholstery; its virtually flawless. The front windshield is believed to be factory original. The headliner however has some minor sagging – typical of a GM from this era. The trunk compartment looks like it’s never held anything either. In the lower storage compartment is a like new “bra” for the front of the car, four new old stock never used Trans-Am mud flaps and a few A/C Delco parts that come with the car. The entire owner’s manual, and all of the associated brochures are still with the car, and in the back corner is the never used space-saver spare tire along with the factory jack and tire iron. None of those things have ever come out of the car in what will be 40 years coming up. This car has been loved and used sparingly right here in Saskatoon for a long time. It’s looking for it’s next “forever” home. Will you adopt?
