1988 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Scottsdale Reg Cab, Long Box, 2WD. It would be hard to find a nicer truck than this anywhere! Factory original truck showing only 141,000 kms but clearly loved and cherished for every one of those kms. It’s very obvious this truck never cruised any gravel roads as the original factory paint is virtually flawless and chip free. Some very minor clear coat peeling on some small spots on the roof, which was common for two stage paint in the 80’s from the Big 3. Still thought, the truck looks amazing and shines like its brand new. Sold new at Wheaton GM in Regina in ‘88, the complete owners manual package comes with the truck along with absolute EVERY service/oil change and maintenance receipt from new until now. The truck has only been plated by its original owner. Whomever plates it next will be owner number 2. Well equipped truck with A/C, tilt, Cruise, delay wipers, Cassette deck and full gauges. The headliner is showing some minor drooping in spots but still looks good. The factor bench seat was swapped for aftermarket dual buckets with arm rests finished in blue velour when the vehicle was new. We have a set of factory buckets and a matching console in blue and correct for the truck on the way. A/C blows cold. Bed is in excellent condition for its age and only shows minor scuffing where a drop in bed liner clearly used to be. No big gouges or damage. The underside looks great too with zero rust or corrosion and factory original cab corners and rockers (the truck used to have running boards from new). Under the hood is a throttle-body fuel injected 305 with a 4-speed automatic transmission behind it. It runs flawlessly. Aftermarket wheels may not to be everyone’s taste, but they look brand new. An honest to goodness true survivor truck that’s looking for the next owner to take just as good of care of it as the first one.
