2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. Hard to find these anymore, especially in good condition. This one is in nice shape for its age. Paint and body are good, with only a few minor chips and scratches, a lot of which would polish out easily. Nice red and with silver body kit combo with factory alloy wheels, dual exhaust tips, rear spoiler and fog lights. Powered by the rock-solid 3.8-liter V6 making 200 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque, matched to a 4-speed automatic driving the front wheels. Just 152,000 kms on the clock in 23 years – that works out to 6600 kms/year. The engine compartment is neat and tidy. The SS trim received all the bells and whistles including sport suspension, powered sunroof, Leather upholstery with heated front buckets, and in this case, dual powered front seats. Moving inside, the only real wear and tear is on the leather surfaces on the seats, with cracking and a few small rips. The car is equipped with dual zone climate control with A/C, power windows, power locks with keyless entry, tilt steering, cruise control, audio controls on the steering wheel, full gauges, CD player/radio, traction control, auto dimming rear view mirror and On-Star. The rest of the interior is nice including carpets, door panels, dashboard, console and headliner. The trunk is spotless too and very clean. A new set of seat skins and the car would be virtually blemish free. Still a reliable 2-door coupe with good looks and lots of life left at a reasonable price, or the start of something great with a few dollars spent on the seats.
