1955 Pontiac

1955 Pontiac Laurentian 2-door hardtop. Very nice restoration done some time ago. Neat features you just don't see on a Chev of the same year. Tons of beautiful chrome and stainless. 265 V8 car with a 3-on-the-tree manual. Starts and runs great. Engine restoration is very nice and painted the correct sea-foam green. Still running on a generator. No power steering and no power brakes but still steers and stops amazingly well. White walls look great. Right now, there is a crack in the windshield. Inside the Coral and Grey motif continues with vinyl and cloth seats. Dashboard is very ornamented and unique. Had seatbelts installed at some point. In the trunk, the floor is very nice and finished with cut carpet. Spare and jack are there, and the underside of the trunk is decorated with car show plaques and stickers from lots of attended runs in Alberta and B.C. Not a flawless car, with a few chips here and there, but certainly a rust free car. Part of the 5-6-7 club, but with Pontiac flavour! Perfect for a summer cruise and to reminisce over an ice cream cone. 96,000 miles on the clock, but like any car with a 5-digit odometer, true milage is unknown.
