1969 GTO
1969 Pontiac GTO. This one is pretty special to us as the frame-on restoration was completed by the guys here at Rod's Hotrods in our service shop. One cool GOAT! Built in the Baltimore plant, it was shipped as general zone stock to Calgary Alberta, January 8, 1969. Originally in Expresso Brown, it now wears Carousel Red (orange) and has been recently painted. The 400-4-bbl big block has been gone through and attention given where needed. All new exhaust just completed at Competition Muffler in Saskatoon. Factory equipment includes blower-type rear window defogger, front buckets and console, heavy duty front and rear suspension, 3.55 ratio rear axle. Power brakes with single piston front discs, TH-400 3-speed auto, power steering, push button AM radio, rear adjustable air ride shocks with on-board compressor and under dash controls (not currently hooked up) and deluxe seatbelts were all options. Canadian vintage vehicle services documentation comes with the car. The restoration has recently been completed, and it shows nicely. Undercoating is new and the trunk has been refinished in the correct factory splatter paint. The rear bumper is brand new, and all the rubber door trim/gaskets and seals have been replaced. Suspension and brake work is all complete with new bushings and ball joints. Brakes are fresh. Inside, a lot of time and attention has been spent. All new headliner, carpets, front seat skins in the factory correct parchment and a brand-new dash pad installed. Factory steel wheels and wheel trim covers have been upgraded to torque thrusts with new rubber all around. If you're looking for some muscle for this upcoming summer, this one should be on your list!
