1972 GTO
1972 Pontiac GTO 2-door post coupe. 1 of 59 built this way according to Pontiac Documents. A Barret Jackson auction car in 2012. Incredible restoration quality with no expense spared. Pontiac 400 topped with an Edelbrock 4-bbl carb and backed with a 4-speed manual. Power brakes but no power steering. Sounds wicked with true dual exhaust. This one was clearly bought with speed in mind. Bench seat, heater, am radio and wipers are about the extent of the options, but what a restoration! Paint is 99% flawless and the engine compartment is impeccable. Underside of the car has nice undercoating, and trunk has correct finishes and trunk mat. Tires are even period correct! Super sweet GTO. Shows 90,000 miles on the clock, but like any vehicle with a 5-digit odometer, true milage is unknown.
