1962 Chevrolet Biscayne Station Wagon. Incredible award-winning frame-off restoration with extreme attention to detail! Frame was powder coated during the process with aftermarket control arms, all new polyurethane bushings, new brake lines, fuel lines and fuel tank at the same time. New floor pans, and quarter panels has the wagon absolutely rust free now! The underside of the car isn’t glossy but looks like a brand-new unit! Black paint is sensational and clearly had a wet sand and polish in the finishing process, as it’s now as smooth as glass and just as reflective. A final polish at our shop has it silky smooth to the touch. Great attention to blocking is clear when you view the roof or sides of this car at an angle. It’s a straight as an arrow. Bumpers were re-chromed and all other brightwork and stainless on the exterior is new. Weather stripping, window channels, door handles and window cranks are new too! The power rear window still works flawlessly. The front door glass was replaced with tinted laminated glass. The three large rear wagon windows now have tint to match the front door glass. Brand new Ridler wheels with 235/35/20 rubber up front and 275/40/20 out back have just been installed, along with adjusting the stance to completing the sinister look of this wagon. Under the hood is a fully rebuilt Chev 350 with a Pro Comp intake, Quadra jet carb, Power steering and power brakes. An Aluminum rad keeps things cool and the front wheels now sport disc brakes too. Behind that is a rebuilt 700-R4 automatic. Opening any door reveals one of the best parts of this car. The “Red Lipstick” interior that stretches from top to bottom and back to front. Even better, is that it’s all new! Headliner, carpets, door panels are all brand new. The dashboard has been painted to match and all gauges and switches are new. A new Tilt Ididit column painted red to match was installed, along with the matching red leather steering wheel and new red seatbelts.  The seat upholstery is done in matching red leather on both front and rear bench seats. The trunk area was also completely refinished. No 3^rd row of seats in this one, but the storage area under the rear floor was even finished to match the rest of the interior. Even the kick panels under the dashboard were customized to match. Glossy black with an all-red interior is a dead sexy combination on this sweet wagon! The car shows 91,000 miles, but with a rebuilt engine, and 5-digit odometer, true milage is unknown. When the car was completed, it was entered into World of Wheels in Winnipeg. Not only did it take 1^st place it it’s class, but it also took home the prestigious BEST IN SHOW! This is a truly unique ride that’s even more stunning in person that it is in the pictures.
