1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. A ton of money has been spent on this beautiful coupe very recently including a very high-end paint job in a fantastic teal color. Surprisingly it pairs well with the tan interior which is very original. The 350 V8 under the hood has a 4-bbl carb, headers, power steering and power brakes. It’s backed by a TH-350 3-speed auto. Billet hinges with gas struts hold the hood on. Overall, under the hood is very neat and tidy for a car this age. The paint and chrome is second to none on this one. The paint has a fantastic pearl and metallic reflection to it and the chrome and brightwork is all very nice. A lot of these ended up as stock cars and eventually into the demolition derby, so it’s neat to see one so original and nicely restored. The interior has newer carpets, and the seats look to be reupholstered, but the door panels, roof and dash all look original. There’s one small crack in the dash pad, very typical of the era. No gauges here except for a speedometer, this one was ordered with dummy lights. A JVC cassette radio is in place of the original in the dash, but otherwise everything else is factory. The heater works as it should. The trunk is finished in the correct spackle green and black finish and it’s very clean. New tires to get the stance just right have just been installed with white letters. The factory center caps have been put back on. This one runs and drives very well. 80,000 miles on the clock, but with a 5-digit odometer, true milage is unknown.
